Objectives

Contribute to the development of aquaculture in Nicaragua and that way aid to increase the standard of the living of coastal communities.

*

Maintain environmental equilibrium in the marine ecosystems, through management strategies and sustainable development.

Contribute to the formation and training of professionals in order for them to be able to evaluate and transfer knowledge and technology for a better management practice and development of aquaculture and implement a better use of hydrological resources..

*

To develop research programs that would increase the quality of university research, and that way increase productivity, better financial management, and increase the standard of living of the all communities involved in aquaculture fisheries.
